About Us
NOVOCELL, formerly Intelligent Micro Design, founded in 2001, has become the foundation of a growing semiconductor industry in the Pittsburgh region. In 2005, Novocell moved its headquarters to the recently constructed LindenPointe Innovative Business Campus, a 115-acre planned technical park.
As a member of The Pittsburgh Technology Collaborative (TTC), Novocell maintains a strong network of technical experts throughout the world which it leverages to drive innovation in its solutions. Included in this network are researchers and developers from Carnegie Mellon University, Penn State University, The University of Pittsburgh and other TTC member companies.
STEVEN WARNER, President/CEO - Mr. Warner is responsible for setting the company’s direction, sales and marketing strategy, driving commercialization of its products and managing its business operations. He is a seasoned executive with 30 years of business experience in power storage manufacturing, operations, finance, and business development.
Mr. Warner holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.
WALTER NOVOSEL, CTO/Engineering Director - Mr. Novosel holds the leadership role in driving innovation at Novocell. His innovations include an integral role in the early design of the first generation NovoBlox OTP products and the development of 2nTP- the industry's first multi-time write antifuse device. He has worked in memory development, design and layout at Novocell since 2002.
Mr. Novosel has a B.S.E.E. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ohio University.
